Bulls Vs. Jazz

On Saturday we went to the Bulls game. It was my ( and the babies) first! This was Bills Christmas present. I think I may have enjoyed it more then he did though. It was a great game, they were scoring back and forth. We ended up getting free Big Macs since they scored over 100 points and won. YEAH!!

Okay so I have been asked/threatened to post some pregnancy mug shots. I decided to be brave and have bill take a few tonight. I am in my PJ's and ready for bed so looking a little rough, but you can see my bump! I really started showing in the last two weeks and the baby is moving around like crazy in there!

Our close friends came to visit two weekends ago from Arizona. We got to see there baby for the first time. He is so adorable and is a great baby. As you can see in the pictures he has the best head of hair ever. I also got to teach the veteran parents a move that quieted the baby down instantly, I was very proud of myself.

I have the best husband!!

So I just want to let everyone know I have the best husband in the world. Sorry ladies, if you think yours is, you are wrong!

This weekend he took me to see Dirty Dancing ,the play, at Cadillac palace theater. It was awesome. Well of course since I just saw the play I had to watch the movie. So he sat through another hour and a half , watching the movie. He did not complain one bit!!

Then Monday I tell him about my craving of ribs, potato salad and pickles. (Can you tell I am pregnant?) What did he bring me home from work? All the above!!

Here is the baby at 6 weeks 5 days.

For those of you who have never seen an ultrasound before. The baby is on the left of the pool. the perfect circle on the right is the yolk sack. It gives the baby nutrients until the umbilical cord is formed. Yes we first that that was the head too.

Christmas Decorations

On the Saturday after thanksgiving we put up our Christmas decorations. We had Christmas music , and hot chocolate it really got us in the christmas spirit!! Lucky for us we put the decorations up on saturday since we got a nice sized snow storm on sunday.

We had a doctors visit tonight. I think that took a pint of blood from me. Doctor says everything is great. We heard the heart beat again, but not for long since the doctor had to keep chasing the baby down, it moved a ton. I think we have an Olympic swimmer in there. I am not sure if I wrote this in the last entry, but I felt the baby for the first time on thanksgiving and a few times since. It is an amazing feeling. It usually likes to move the most when daddy comes in the room. The baby is already picking favorites and it is not even out!! he he.

Our next appointment is the big one. It is on January 7th. We get to find out if it is a he or a she!! Yeah.

THE MESS! DAMN THE DISHES! but so worth it!!!!!

Every year during thanksgiving we go to about three different households. This year since we have the new house we had thanksgiving at our place, with almost everyone. We missed the Weiland Side, Besides Rocco of course. We started the night before preparing the sides for a few hours. Then we woke up early (8AM!) and got the turkey started. 6+++ hours later we had a wonderful feast. Everyone was shocked with how well it turned out, not sure if that should offend me or not. MOM WEILAND would have been proud, everything tasted great and true to weiland tradition we had 3 times the food as we needed. We finished off the night with a 3 hour rock session jamming on the rock band.

Halloween Party (November 1st 2008)

So since we have the new house, I talked bill into having a Halloween party. For those that do not know, Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year. It was a blast!! We probably had about50 people here. Almost every single person dressed up. We had a ton of food, music, and of course beer. Everything went great, that is until Bill and Rocco put a hole in the wall. Oh well, is was a great way to warm our house.

WE ARE PREGNANT!!!

Yes, It is official we are pregnant, I am now in my second trimester. We found out on Sept 16Th, that we are expecting our first baby. We only started to tell people this month. We can not be happier. We found out at our first appointment that we are due on May 27th. We got to hear the heartbeat a few times since, it is fast 146 beats per minute. The grandparents are of course super excited for their first grand baby!! We can not wait until early January to hopefully find out what we are having!!

Anniversary Trip to Mexico

We decided to try Mexico for our anniversary. It was very nice. We did a lot in the short time we were there. We went on a Zip line tour which was a lot of fun. That is the picture were we are rocking the helmets. I know we look cool in a special ed sort of way. Another day we went to Chichen Itza. It was really awesome to see something built so many years ago. We also went to this sink whole. It is very difficult to describe, but it was breath taking.

Our Honeymoon

We honeymooned in Jamaica. It was the best vacation we have ever had. I would recommend it to anyone!!! We did what was called an island hopper. This is where we stayed in Ochos Rios for 4 nights and Negril for 4 nights. Ochos Rios was very relaxing and we were steps from the ocean. Negril had the best sunsets I have ever seen.

We got married on June 22 2007. It was a beautiful wedding. We had a full catholic ceremony. Then a reception at a hall nearby. That day flew by. As I always say it was the best day of my life, that I would never want to repeat again. I still can not believe we have been married for over a year. How time flies!!!
